Adjusting center channel volume level

You can turn up or turn down the volume of the center speaker audio. This can help, for example, to increase or decrease clarity of voices in the sound you are listening to.

Adjust the center speaker level.

Before you begin

You can adjust the center speaker volume while your system is playing sound in 3-speaker mode. For more info, see Changing speaker mode.

To adjust this setting from the system display:

  1. On the remote control, press the Settings button
  2. Using the arrow buttons on the remote, scroll down to Center Channel so the > icon is next to it
  3. Press the Right button so the > symbol is next to the number
  4. Use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the center speaker volume level
  5. Press the Settings button to exit the menu.

To adjust this setting from the menu on your TV:

  1. Power on your system and TV
  2. Press the Settings button on the remote control
    Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected
  3. Use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the Center Channel icon
  4. Press the Right button to select the current setting. The default level is 0
  5. Use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the center speaker volume level.
