Setting SD Progressive Scan

Your system supports progressive scan for NTSC video, which generally provides a better picture from video plays through your system. Learn how to adjust the progressive scan settings.

Setting SD Progressive Scan:

This option is only available for systems with console software version 030100 or newer. Additionally, you must have the accessory VS-2 video enhancer connected to your TV with component video cables. For other setups, see Setting progressive scan for video.
  1. On your system, select one of the following sources: CD/DVD (with a disc loaded), AUX, CBL-SAT or VCR
  2. On the remote control, press the Settings button
    Tip: If the system menu does not appear on your TV, be sure the correct TV input is selected
  3. Scroll down to SD Progressive Scan
  4. Scroll right to select the current setting
  5. Scroll up or down the up or down to select a setting Off (for 480i or 576i video) or On (for 480p or 576p video)
  6. Press the Exit button to exit the menu.
