My system will not turn on

Check to see if the buttons on the system can perform any functions. If the buttons on the system work, the remote may be faulty

Make sure the power cable is securely connected. If either end of the power cable is not firmly connected, the power connection may be inconsistent

Be sure the power cable is plugged into a working power outlet. If the outlet is controlled by a wall switch, make sure the switch is in the On position. Test the outlet with another device, such as a lamp. If necessary, plug the system into a different outlet.

Note: Some power strips cut power to outlets when certain other outlets are not turned on. Check the manufacturer for details

Verify the Acoustimass module voltage is set properly. A dual voltage module has a voltage selection switch next to the AC input jack. This switch may be set to 230 V, 115 V or may be in the middle of the two settings. If it is, unplug the Acoustimass module power cable from the power outlet, switch the voltage selector setting to either 115 V or 230 V based on the region that you are in, then reconnect the power cable
