Sounds good, anywhere

ADAPTiQ audio room calibration will optimise its acoustic performance for the unique characteristics of your room—giving you the best possible listening experience.

Clear voice pickup

A custom-designed eight-microphone array
delivers superior voice pickup, so Alexa will still hear you even when the music is playing loud.

QuietPort technology

The soundbar’s recessed ports use a piece of resistant screen to reduce noise while getting more sound through a smaller opening. The result? Virtually distortion-free bass from a slim profile.

Elegant lightbar

Not sure Alexa heard you? An ingenious light bar helps indicate when Alexa is listening, thinking or speaking.

PhaseGuide technology

Proprietary PhaseGuide technology works with tiny transducers to direct beams of multi-directional sound, delivering an unprecedented level of spaciousness. You’ll feel like sound is coming from places outside your soundbar.

Proprietary drivers

Custom-designed, low-profile transducers provide superior clarity while maintaining an incredibly slim design.

The Bose Soundbar 700 Universal Remote is included with the purchase of your soundbar and lets you manage all your entertainment at the touch of a button. It features six presets and lights up only the buttons you need at that moment, making it even easier to find your favourites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best sound, Easy setup & minor updates to consider I have my Sound Bar 700 for 1 week, was not an easy decision and I did a lot of research, normally I do not write reviews so often but this amazing Soundbar deserves it since notice some bad ratings that do not make any sense. Pros: .- easy seatings and installation - 27 min with SW upgrade. .- clear sound and notorious Bass (alone)- I compare it with other top vendors at the store and make the decision wasn't hard when hear the quality of the sound. I also bought the surround Speakers and the bass module that make a great difference if you are looking for a surround system. .- Compatibility: I have a Sony TV, Sony PS4, and Apple TV4k - in perfect harmony with a single remote (can use only the BOSE, only sonyTV or Apple TV remotes any time) basically thanks to the market I have Alexa,Siri and Google assistant in my living room + other vendor wireless speakers at home that also can play music with this system thanks to Alexa and Apple compatibility and their multi-room integration. .- you can group other Bose Wireless speakers (not my case now maybe in the future) Cons: .- NO DOLBYATMOS compatibility - and Bose do not confirm if this will be available soon - I tough to take out one star only for this but in my case all the surround that I was looking for is covered for the space and budget I have with this SB 700 system. .- Bose Remote is solid and lets say looks amazing - also integrate full functions (no mic- unless you only want to talk to Alexa trough the sound bar -so I can not say "universal integration") and in my opinion so big - If you still need a lot of buttons and functions it is for you since offer a full integration with other legacy systems but in my case I prefer to manage my TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime and entertainment services with my Apple TV remote or my SonyTV touch Control that works perfect and are small: volume control and touch panel + both have voice control. (Siri and Google assistant) .- in my case I control all my music and most of the content from the Apple TV, iPads or iPhones - Any time that you go out like "Alexa play some music" the system goes to Amazon Music, or Pandora and works great! but in my case I look for iTunes to play and do it from my Apple TV or Airplay - so only down I found is that when the system switch to Music it changes the input and you will need to back to the Bose remote and switch back to the input you are working and unfortunately this function is not available on the Bose APP - hope they work soon in an upgrade and offer full functionalities from there. I probably do a review only for the app. Botton line if you are looking for a full surround 7.x or 10.x system and have room for big speakers then a Soundbar is not for you go and look for a HT - but if you are looking for wireless easy setup and an Amazing virtual surround Soundbar and can survive occasionally switching your remotes until Bose do a SW update.. this is the best you can get in the market now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Music and Movie System The Bose Soundbar 700 with the Bose Wireless Surround Speakers is nothing short of incredible. We’re only using the Bose Soundbar 700 and the Bose Wireless Surround Speakers, hard to imagine what this system would sound like with the addition of the Bose Base Module 700. The Bose Soundbar 700’s stylish looks and solid appearance is only exceeded by its incredible sound. Beautiful sound that is extremely crisp and clear, with deep rich bass, all this great sound without changing any of the sound controls that are available in the Bose Music App. Room filling sound that makes both movies and music come to life. You must use a Smartphone or Tablet to set up this system, I used a Smartphone. Use the Bose manual on the internet to set up the system and read some of the reviews as this will give you some good information when setting up. I read a review that talked about how long it took the Soundbar to download updates once they were connected to the internet using the Bose Music App, so I was prepared, however, if I had not read that review I might have been concerned with the App not finding the Soundbar right away. Setup is quick and easy, the longest part being the downloading of updates. The Bose Soundbar 700 Remote: Had a hard time getting the Soundbar remote to find our TCL 55S405 TV. After attempting many times I had given up and accepted it was not going to work. After a couple of days I attempted to sync the remote to the TV one more time prior to writing a review and I was successful. The Soundbar 700 remote can control all of the TVs functions and is very cool! Any wireless surround sound speakers that we’ve used have an additional component that you must plug into an electrical outlet and has wiring that will go from that component to your wireless speaker. View the Bose Wireless Surround Speakers on the Bose internet site and you’ll see a picture displaying placement and setup. Once you’ve completed the above you’ll need to run the ADAPTIQ using the Bose Music App. If you’re like us, you can’t set up the surround speakers as shown on the Bose internet site however once you run the ADAPTIQ it will accommodate your wireless speaker locations. With the integration of the Alexa built right into the Bose Soundbar 700 you have a system you can control with your voice. Alexa built into the Bose Soundbar allows you to control some of your operational requests for your equipment and responds much the same as Alexa Echo for all other requests. We have four Amazon Alexa’s and we have found the Alexa built into the Soundbar more responsive, during the playback of loud music. Bose states “You don’t just want to hear your movies, music, and TV. You want to feel the crushing footsteps of a T-Rex on the screen”, well we tested this out by watching the original Jurassic Park, and Bose was not exaggerating. The sound is incredible, our living room filled with sound, if someone in the movie would have dropped a pin you would have heard it and when a dinosaur’s foot hit the ground you didn’t just hear it, you felt it. Like all Bose products they come very well packaged and are easy to set up, you can be listening to your favorite music or movie in no time. The only Con we have found is the Bose Music App will not download to any of our 8” or 10” Amazon Fire Tablets. We highly recommend the Bose Soundbar 700 and the Bose Wireless Surround Speakers!

How is the Bose Soundbar 700 soundbar different from the Bose Solo 5 TV sound system?

The Solo 5 system is designed primarily to provide better TV sound with an emphasis on dialogue. It greatly improves your TV sound and helps with dialogue intelligibility. The Solo 5 system does not include any built-in virtual assistant functionality. The Bose Soundbar 700 does that and much more—including Amazon Alexa voice control built in. It provides a wide soundstage (a lot wider than the bar itself) and brings your music and movies to life by immersing you in the sound. You will hear sounds coming from places where there are no physical speakers. The Bose Soundbar 700 also includes ADAPTiQ audio calibration technology, which adjusts the sound of the soundbar to best fit your room, no matter the shape or furnishings. So it always sounds its best.

Can the Bose Soundbar 700 be mounted to the wall?

Yes. The optional new Bose Soundbar Wall Bracket lets you mount the soundbar flush to the wall.

How do I run the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system with the Bose Soundbar 700?

ADAPTiQ is part of the overall setup process and driven through the Bose Music app. You will be prompted to run ADAPTiQ after you download the Bose Music app and start the setup process. If you skip running ADAPTiQ during the initial setup process—or change your room significantly after initially running ADAPTiQ—you can go back into the app and do it again. Initiate ADAPTiQ and follow the prompts in the app.

How do I connect a Bluetooth® device with the Bose Soundbar 700?

Press and hold the Bluetooth® source button on the remote for several seconds (the light will flash on the Bose Soundbar 700 remote). Ensure that your mobile device is in pairing mode and select the Bose Soundbar 700 from the list. You also can pair your mobile device to the soundbar using the Bose Music app.

Does the Bose Soundbar 700 have NFC technology for Bluetooth® pairing?

What type of remote is included with the Bose Soundbar 700?

The Bose Soundbar 700 comes with a new backlit universal remote control. Line of sight is not required between the remote and the soundbar because it does not use IR. Instead, the remote uses Bluetooth® Low Energy to communicate with the soundbar and then the soundbar blasts IR commands to control your other devices.

How does the Bose Soundbar 700 connect to my TV?

The simplest way to connect the Bose Soundbar 700 is via the supplied HDMI cable to your TV. If your TV has an HDMI-ARC or HDMI-eARC connection, you should use that connection. If your TV does not have an HDMI connection, then you should connect the Bose Soundbar 700 to the TV using the optical cable (supplied with the Bose Soundbar 700).

How do I control other devices with the Bose Soundbar 700 remote controls?

There are two ways to control other devices: HDMI-CEC and IR. The soundbar may be able to control connected devices (TV, Blu-ray Disc™ player, games console) over HDMI-CEC. This allows you to turn on other devices and operate them with the soundbar remote without any programming. It also enables one-touch access to entertainment, enabling you to turn on multiple devices and select an input with a single touch of a button. However, not all devices respond to these commands. In particular, cable and satellite boxes may not respond to HDMI commands. The customer still can control devices that do not respond to HDMI commands by programming the Bose Soundbar Universal Remote (included with the Bose Soundbar 700).

Does the Bose Soundbar 700 have HDMI-eARC capability?

What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the Bose Soundbar 700?

The Bose Soundbar 700 uses the reflective surfaces of the room to deliver a spacious home cinema experience. To ensure optimal audio performance, the soundbar should be placed equidistant from each side wall and directly in the front centre of the TV. No objects should be placed in front of the soundbar and it should not be placed recessed inside a cabinet, as this will result in a limited soundstage.

Can source devices, such as a cable box, iPod, gaming system etc., be connected directly to the Bose Soundbar 700?

No. All sources must be connected to the TV and then a single connection (via the HDMI or optical cable) must be made from the TV to the soundbar.

Can I use my streaming music presets from the Bose Music app with the Bose Soundbar 700?

Yes. The Bose Soundbar 700 uses presets via the Bose Music app and the remote control.

Can you mix and match the wireless bass modules and soundbars?

Yes. The Bose Soundbar 500, Bose Soundbar 700, Bose Bass Module 500 and Bose Bass Module 700 all use the same wireless protocols and can be mixed and matched (e.g. a Bose Soundbar 700 can be wirelessly paired with a Bose Bass Module 500 or a Bose Soundbar 500 with a Bose Bass Module 700). However, the design language and materials of the Bose Soundbar 500 and the Bose Soundbar 700 product lines were designed to complement products in the same class (e.g. Bose Soundbar 500 products together and Bose Soundbar 700 products together). So, the glass on the Bose Soundbar 700 products looks more complementary together than if you mixed one Bose Soundbar 500 product with a Bose Soundbar 700 product.
