Rated 1 out of 5 by Sid from intriguing As the header states, I find this accessory utterly intriguing. Here you have a premium set of headphones, which I am now into my 7th year of use. I can hand on heart, say that these headphones enhance my quality of life and make the most mundane journey something to look forward to. However, and here is the intrigue, they give you a cable of such horrendous quality, that you have to buy a replacement every 18 months or so. But now i notice looking at the product description that they give 'lifetime technical assistance'. Wonder what this is?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Suitonaplane from Great headset, poor cable design lets it down It's not hard to snag a cable somewhere around you when sat on a plane for hours so it pulls the lead out the headphones. In the five years I have had these they have flown at least 500,000 miles but started to show the wiring early on after a few such snags and drops. Somehow they made it to five years bar a few days before giving up. Putting rubber casing around the wire at each end where the wire joins the connectors so the cable ends have some elasticity may have given a much more durable result. I hope more recent equivalents are better designed.
